I wanted to create something I haven't found anywhere myself yet (and I've traveled quite a bit). One statement piece I'd take on a vacation with me without having to bother with my outfits anymore. The dress I'll top off with a leather jacket and a belt around my waist, and I can go for a cocktail in the evening. A dress that I've been looking for for so long that I've decided to create one. Affordable but luxurious. The kind of dress I want to wear the whole summer long. A dress that will flatter every body shape because we’re all beautiful.

We don't want you to spend tons of money on what is known as a "fashion trend". We want you to look into your summer wardrobe where you'll always have something to wear. One dress you will pack into your suitcase and it serves you for your whole vacay. No compromising here.

We make our dresses in very limited quantities. First of all cause we don't wanna produce that much clothing. Second of all, we don't want every second woman to be dressed the same like you. Every time you meet other women we want them to be like "oh, you look amazing! Where did you get your dress from?!"

We want to partner with the best. That's why we chose @betterpackagingco as a packaging solution for our kaftans to be shipped to you. Our mailers are made from plants, corn to be exact, with a man-made binding agent added for flexibility. And the best bit … it can be composted at home! Yip, when you’ve finished using them, just put them them with your food scraps and garden waste, and before you know it, worms will be eating them for breakfast. Better for the environment, better for our oceans, a better tomorrow.

We are female owned-and-operated, we use local providers and manufacturers. We're made by women, for women. With a bit of a man's perspective from time to time. Cause we want them to like what we wear as well. And sometimes we even want them to pay for our cakes. "Two salted caramel cheesecakes, please!" We can, cause we wear Kaftanlicious. It's as simple as that.
